Miroslava Brooks is a Co-founder and Principal of FORMA – a design-driven architecture practice based in New York, Faculty at the Yale School of Architecture and at the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design, and NCARB-certified architect with licensure in New York and Connecticut. 

Since its establishment in 2018, FORMA has completed and continues to develop a range of building types from Homes – private residences and multi-family housing – to Commons – cultural, educational and institutional projects of various scales. Prior to founding FORMA, Miroslava worked at Eisenman Architects in New York City, leading the development of the Yenikapi Archeological Museum in Istanbul, and at Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects in New Haven, CT.

Born and raised in Slovakia, Miroslava graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, and received a Master of Architecture from Yale University, where she was awarded the Gertraud A. Wood Fellowship and the William Wirt Winchester Travelling Fellowship – the school’s most prestigious award. In 2018, Miroslava was selected by Yale School of Architecture graduating students to be awarded the Professor King-lui Wu Teaching Award.
