Jean Jaminet is an assistant professor at Kent State University at the College of Architecture and Environmental Design. He holds a Master of Architecture from Princeton University and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University. His prior teaching appointments include Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas, Instructor at the Savannah College of Art and Design and Five College Visiting Lecturer in Architectural Studies. Jean has accumulated a broad range of professional experience in distinguished architecture firms, including the offices of Deborah Berke and Steven Harris in New York. His research examines a shift in metaphysical thinking provoked by our fundamental reliance on technology that alters our perception of the built environment.

Michael Young is an architect and educator practicing in New York City where he is a founding partner of the architectural design studio Young & Ayata. Young & Ayata have received a Progressive Architecture award, the Design Vanguard Award, and the Young Architects Prize.

Michael is currently an Assistant Professor at the Cooper Union. He was previously the Louis I. Kahn Visiting Assistant Professor at Yale University and has taught studios and seminars at Princeton, SCI-Arc, and Columbia. He has published numerous essays and the book titled The Estranged Object. Michael was the 2019-20 Rome Prize Fellow at the American Academy in Rome.
