Design for Displacement

Sai Sinbondit is the founding principal and Executive Director of I_You Design lab. The terms displacement, migration, and homelessness are clearly defined, but in reality, the boundaries and similarities of the human struggles between them are blurred. In this lecture, Sai Sinbondit will be sharing the evolution of his practice I_You Design Lab and several projects that focus on addressing the fundamental needs and the betterment of those that have been displaced through leveraging research, collaboration, design, and mindful construction to create meaningful and equitable built environments.

I_You Design Lab is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit design and architecture collective dedicated to developing and supporting meaningful and sustainable solutions that help lift the quality of life at every scale and level for people who have been displaced.
