The Evolution of Construction Technology and the Impact of AI
As Senior Vice President of Operations at Cleveland Construction, Inc., I bring over 17 years of experience leading teams through the successful delivery of complex, high-value construction projects across the U.S. I’m proud to have played a pivotal role in the company’s growth—helping scale our operations, modernize our project delivery methods, and expand into new regional markets including Florida, North Carolina, Kentucky, and beyond.
At the core of my leadership is a passion for innovation. I champion the integration of cutting-edge construction technologies (including Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, OpenSpace, DocuSign, Primavera P6 and GC Pay as well as several software pilots with Trunk Tools, Disperse, DataGrid, Document Crunch, and other AI based solutions)—BIM (Building Information Modeling), VDC (Virtual Design & Construction), prefabrication, and cloud-based collaboration tools—to drive efficiency, accuracy, and transparency from concept through completion. These tools are not only transforming how we build, but also how we collaborate with clients, partners, and field teams in real time. We have recently joined Suffolk Technologies as an Operating Partner, helping early-stage startups in the BOOST program become venture-backable and enterprise-ready. The Operating Partners are both a strategic guide and an industry insider, essential to helping these companies gain traction and credibility.
I'm a firm believer in the power of mentorship and talent development. I take pride in helping young professionals and students explore careers in the construction industry, serving as a mentor through the ACE Mentor Program, serving on the Industry Advisory Board for the Kent State University Construction Management Program, and guiding Cleveland Construction’s College Internship Program as well as the Work First High School Student Development Program. Developing the next generation of builders is a mission I take seriously—and personally.
I have also served as a board member for the United Way of Lake County, where I advocated for community engagement and aligned volunteer efforts that make a lasting local impact. Whether in the boardroom, on the job site, or in the community, I lead with a mindset of continuous improvement, collaboration, and integrity.
