Ron Tannenbaum’s career has studied innovations in the built environment, concentrating on experimentation that emphasizes the human scale and context, and challenges building traditions through a sculptural approach to space. With over 20 years of experience for innovative architecture firms around the world, and built projects across 4 continents, he brings a global perspective that appropriates alternate construction strategies based on lessons learned from other regions.

While an Associate at Gehry Partners, he focused on digital technologies that spanned from conceptual planning through to project completion. His practical research has led to innovations in the field of architecture, where he pushed the boundaries of construction systems, finding unique solutions to technical problems. Particularly, his approach has helped shape the modern office work environment through projects like the Meta Facebook Offices and Novartis Pharmaceuticals Headquarters Buildings.

Mr. Tannenbaum has also taught at the Parsons School of Design, and currently teaches at Kent State University, where he focuses on the methodologies that bridge architectural design to the built environment.
